Assalamualaikum, greetings.
Welcome to the website of the State Hydrology and Telemetry Monitoring System (SPHTN), developed by the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) as a platform for delivering hydrological information that is faster, more accurate, and easily accessible to the public.
This website was created to display real-time hydrological data, including river water levels, total rainfall, and current conditions at selected hydrology stations throughout the state. Through continuously updated data displays, the public, government agencies, local authorities, and local communities can obtain an early overview of the current situation in their respective areas.
In addition, SPHTN also provides early warning information that may indicate the potential occurrence of floods at specific locations. With this system, it is hoped that preparedness can be improved, response actions strengthened, and disaster risks and impacts reduced for the community.
DID Sabah is committed to continuously enhanced the capabilities of its telemetry system and hydrological information delivery from time to time. This effort is in line with the government’s aspiration to strengthen water resource management, improve public safety, and ensure that the state’s development can be implemented in a more sustainable and resilient manner.
I would like to express my gratitude to all parties who have continuously supported JPS Sabah in providing technical services to the community. May this SPHTN website be fully utilized for the benefit of all.
